The central focus of Incredible by Five (IB5) lies in nurturing executive function skills alongside academic learning. In IB5, the focus on executive function is not treated as a separate exercise but is embedded into the IB5 curriculum. In today’s information-rich environment, it is easy for children to learn facts. However, without a good level of executive function, they will find it difficult to conform to routines, switch from doing something they enjoy to something of lesser interest in school. Executive function is what allows children to be successful in meeting the demands of school, and early childhood is a key period for acquiring executive function.

We currently offer classes tailored for children aged 3 to 5. If you have an interest in classes for a different age range, please feel free to inform us by completing an enquiry form.

Children with better executive function are likely to perform better in school because they are better at following directions, maintaining focus, setting goals, collaborating with peers and staying away from distractions.

Children will develop executive function skills as they become older and more matured: this is false, these skills must be cultivated, they don’t develop based on maturity. As we know, adults with low executive function skills struggle with self-control, and it manifests in the form of impulsive behaviours.

We have a maximum of 8 students in one group. Our early learning instructor will be supported by an assistant in larger classes.

$45 per class and each class is 60 minutes in duration.

No, we are not a child care provider.

Yes, we offer one trial class.

Learning materials are provided free of charge. Learning aids are provided in class to encourage hands-on and interactive learning.

Students are allowed to bring water bottles to class, but please note that food is not allowed.

Absences from classes missed will not be refunded. However, a student can attend a make-up class in the same week (if it is available). You will need to contact us to arrange make-up classes in advance.
